Technology
Our Flagship product Meridian One is based on call log measurements generated by switch elements in the wireless networks. We are able to use key RF data found in these logs to triangulate the location of a mobile user. We utilize proprietary algorithms along with time-distance of arrival data calculated from data in each call log.
Our algorithms ensure the mobile can be located and meets our thresholds for a valid location based on multi-path analysis and other criteria. We are able to triangulate enough calls to present an accurate representation of an entire market performance. Once a call is located, we are then able to store many system attributes about the call with its location. This technology allows us to integrate a wireless customers network experience into engineering and decision-making processes, producing immediate results.
Our database stores both specific call data as well as summarized location information for many system attributes - some of them not available with traditional drive testing. The ability to search for calls on specific call log details is one the most popular features of our product.
Our GIS-enabled data warehouse offers the ability of engineers to track network progress based on known problem areas as well as user-defined areas.
Our software currently supports the CDMA infrastructure vendors Motorola, Lucent and coming this year, Nortel Networks. We are working to support GSM infrastructure vendors later this year.
